A fully operational Zebrafish facility is housed in our Institute and is run by postdocs, PhD students, lab Managers and graduates students. The facility provides housing, feeding, mating and embryo procurement services for our research purpose.

In total, the fishroom includes 450 X 3.5L aquariums and 105 X 1L aquariums for a hosting capacity of 16800 fish.

We are maintaining stocks of wild type zebrafish as well as several zebrafish mutants and transgenic fishlines. Multi-fluorescent protein-expressing transgenic lines and crispr-edited lines are generated in the lab for our research.

The lab has equipment and expertise in wholemount in-situ hybridization and immunofluorescence, transgenesis, mRNA, morpholino injections, Crispr (KO and KI), confocal imaging.
